Poor Andy Murray. The Brits just can't win anything in tennis. Federer disposed of him in three sets in the Australian Open yesterday, as I suspect most of us knew he would.
Had Murray won he would have been a great British hero. But the UK sporting public and media are fickle, and delight in tearing their sporting stars to pieces. Ask John Terry (though it's hard to blame anyone but Terry himself for that particular fall from grace). So today Andy Murray is just another Scottish loser.
