Ted Haggard is back preaching, and his new church has a special welcome for gay people.
The American evangelist was kicked out of his own church in 2006 after he admitted paying a male prostitute for sex.
After a few years in the wilderness, including a stint selling insurance, he is back and has started a new church.
"I was a sinner," said Haggard, "but the Lord forgives. I have been given a second chance."
Haggard underwent therapy to deal with his homosexuality. He says the therapy cured him of his "sinful lusts", and that the entire experience has left him more sympathetic to the plight of gays and lesbians.
"I am cured," he said. "But now I want to help others. My new church welcomes people of every persuasion, no matter whether you're straight or gay.
"I was in torment but was set free. If you're having sinful thoughts about another man, then I can help you. Come to my church.
"I will do whatever it takes to free you from your misery. If you need counselling, I can help. I am offering one-on-one private therapy for those men who need it.
"Even if it takes numerous visits with you to gay nightclubs to show you how wicked your lifestyle is, I'll do it. My sacrifice in time is nothing if it saves another soul.
"And if that doesn't work, let me lay my healing hands all over your sinful body. Let me show you the power of Christ. Let me give it to you. Let me give it to you now!"
