The pool of talent in this country is quite small. It may be advisable to look outside rugby circles. There may be some outstanding candidates outside our own country.
The successful candidate must be able to communicate well and effectively.
He/she will need to be articulate and intelligent.
He/she will also need to be a household name.
Most of all, the person selected will need to be committed.
But time is running out. It may be that we end up choosing one of our own, someone who loves the game and commands respect.
