Garrett's BS

David Garrett claims he obtained a false passport as a harmless prank.

He says he destroyed the passport in 1988. He also says he never used the passport.

That may be true. But he clearly intended to use it. His claim it was just a prank is laughable garbage.

So one wonders what Garrett's real intent was in obtaining the passport.

Think of all the things you might be able to do with a false passport. They include:
  • open a bank account
  • obtain credit
  • apply for a benefit
  • get a drivers licence
  • travel to other countries
  • sell it to a foreign spy agency.
So, Mr Garrett, were any of the above on your "to do" list?

And who or what made you decide not to use the passport? Assuming, of course, that we believe your claim you never used the documents. And right now I'm not inclined to believe a single word you say.

  1. I find it an unbelievable story. So a poor misguided youth would pay 200? for a passport for fun?

    It's very dodgy imo

  2. Time for ol' smile n wave to grow a backbone and deal with this nasty mess. Truly bizarre behaviour from Garrett , MMP certainly has given us a diverse range of Parlimentarians !
