Oh Look, Another Post About Red Alert
I really am fed up with posting about Labour's Red Alert blog, but posts like this one and this one force me to. If Labour people who use social media don't stand up and say stop, the party won't listen.
The insinuation that John Key cares enough about Twitter to bother to buy followers, put out there without any evidence whatsoever, is ridiculous. It's also embarrassing to those Labour followers who give a damn about the more important issues, like asset sales, education, jobs, and growing the economy.
This isn't the first time Clare Curran has posted material that makes her and her party look silly.
John Key's social media strategy may be robotic and impersonal, but it's still better than Clare Curran's.

I welcome comments, but I ask commenters to follow a few simple rules:
1. I delete anonymous comments. Please use either a name or moniker. I am not asking anyone to reveal their secret identity. Just don't call yourself "Anonymous".
2. Please don't abuse or defame others.
3. Moronic or nonsensical comments may be deleted.
4. I don't often exercise the heavy hand of censorship, but I do reserve the right to delete any comment I don't like, for any reason.

How Clare Curran still holds any meaningful position within the parliamentary party after all the stupid stunts she's pulled is beyond me
ReplyDeleteAdmittedly I'm in a minority for thinking that the way they carry on on it (don't be chummy, I mean just don't), most MPs shouldn't even be on Twitter, but yeah, this was particularly embarrassing.
ReplyDeleteCannot agree with you more.
ReplyDeleteYou can't see the bigger strategy here. By obsessively focusing on John Key's social media usage, Claire is revealing to real New Zealanders how obsessively focussed John Key is on his social media usage. And once real New Zealanders realise how obsessive John Key is with regards his social media usage, then they will realise they don't really like him and instead like a party that isn't obsessed with social media.
ReplyDeleteFor The Win!
Behaviourism, innit?
ReplyDeleteCurran and Mallard stuff up, repeatedly, because there's no fear of punishment when they do. Heather Simpson has left the building.
The election result was a disaster for Labour supporters. But not for Labour MPs with safe seats or high list rankings. So, why would they change their bevaviour?
They don't suffer the consequences of their stupidity - only we do. So it continues.
Claire Curran should stick to baking muffins.
ReplyDeleteShe is a silly woman I wou;d love to knoow what her I.Q.is Joan
In the words of David Cameron.
